Senior Quantity Surveyor\n\nLocation: Preston\nJob Type: Full-time\nSalary - £55,000 - £70,000 per annumWe are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing consultancy team. This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of Quantity Surveying and Employer's Agent services across a diverse range of projects and sectors. It is ideal for someone confident in managing projects, building relationships, and taking responsibility for construction projects from inception to completion.\n\nDay-to-day of the role:\n\nDeliver pre-and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.\nPrepare cost plans, estimates, and feasibility budgets.\nProduce tender documentation and manage tender processes.\nPrepare contract documents.\nUndertake valuations, cost reporting, and change control.\nAssess variations, loss and expense claims, and final accounts.\nProvide Employer's Agent services on design and build projects.\nChair and attend client, design team, and contractor meetings.\nManage client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.\nSupport junior members of the team.\nContribute to the continued growth and development of the business.Required Skills & Qualifications:\n\nExperience working as a PQS.\nStrong Quantity Surveying and commercial management experience.\nGood knowledge of JCT contracts.\nExperience acting as, or supporting, an Employer's Agent.\nStrong communication and client-facing skills.\nAbility to manage workload independently and take ownership of projects.\nProactive, ambitious, and commercially aware approach.\nMRICS status required for a Senior (or working towards for a consultant level).\nA full UK driving licence.Benefits:\n\nOpportunity to grow with the business.\nDirect involvement with directors and senior decision-making.\nVaried workload across multiple sectors.\nOpportunity to take ownership of projects and client relationships.\nSupportive, flexible, and collaborative working environment.\nClear potential for career progression as the company continues to expand.To apply for the Senior Quantity Surveyor position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this position
